NCBTMB is committed to providing you with the tools necessary to achieve your professional goals and we understand that communicating your credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging. That is why we have partnered with Credly to provide you with a digital version of your credentials. Digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. This digital image contains verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them.
What are digital badges?
Digital badges are an electronic representation of your Board Certification or Approved Provider status that is visual, available online and embedded with metadata that provides context, meaning and the result of an activity. Digital badges give clients, students and potential employers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn them and what you’re now capable of doing.
Your NCBTMB digital badge is easy to manage, verify and share online. Digital badges provide clients, students and employers evidence of what you have done and why it's important.
Helpful Instructions
These digital badges replace the logos on our website that NCBTMB previously made available. If you are using our logos, please remove them and start using the digital badge. In a separate email, you will receive a link to your digital badge and instructions for creating your Credly account. Below are some helpful instructions that explain the badge and how to use it.

NCBTMB Digital Badge Usage
Your NCBTMB issued digital badge should replace any online usage of your certification seal. This exclusive digital credential recognizes you as Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB®) and highlights your skill, knowledge of and commitment to massage therapy. The digital badge can be displayed anywhere online.
You also have permission to use this badge in printed materials. Always reproduce the complete badge from the electronic artwork provided. Do not alter it in any way. Do not separate any of the elements of the badge. Do not animate, morph or change the proportions or colors. Do not rotate it, render it three-dimensional or add a drop shadow. Do not use any part of the badge as a decorative element, background or pattern.
The digital credential is embedded with qualifying information and can be verified with a single click. The credential expires in congruence with your board certification. Once your certification expires, the badge—when clicked upon—will show that your board certification has expired.
Neither the digital credential nor a png/jpg or other file type version may be used by non-certificants, including former certificants whose certification has lapsed.
