NCBTMB Announces Call for Volunteers, Seeks to Fill Committee Openings in 2020

Burr Ridge, Ill. (February 10, 2020)—The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) announced a call for volunteers to fill openings on its Approved Provider and Ethics and Standards Committees, effectively immediately. Volunteer applications may be submitted online until 5 pm CT on Friday, February 28, 2020.

The NCBTMB Approved Provider Committee is seeking three new committee members to join in 2020. To be eligible for an Approved Provider Committee Member position, you must:

  • Be an active NCBTMB Board Certificant
  • Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of the protocol of massage therapy and bodywork
  • Demonstrate adequate experience in providing continuing education in the field of massage therapy and bodywork and/or educational administration
  • Demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in the massage therapy and bodywork experience

The NCBTMB Ethics & Standards Committee is seeking two new committee members to join in 2020. To be eligible for an Ethics & Standards Committee Member position, you must:

  • Be an active NCBTMB Board Certificant
  • Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of the protocol of massage therapy and bodywork
  • Demonstrate experience in professional standards
  • Demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in the massage therapy and bodywork experience

All interested applicants must submit a Volunteer Application on NCBTMB’s website by 5:00pm CT on Friday, February 28, 2020 for consideration.
