NCB Certificants have worked hard to achieve National and Board Certification – a credential which demonstrates the highest commitment to excellence. To that end, NCB has been effectively reaching new potential clients for our Certificants with our ‘Choose Certified’ Facebook ads. Not only do we tout the many benefits of massage therapy in the ads, we also promote the value of choosing Certified Massage Therapists with a clear call to action and a link to our comprehensive national database of NCB Certificants. These very popular ads have reached over 18 million Facebook users nationally in just the last three months alone and we continue to run fresh ads weekly. The Find a Certified Therapist Facebook App
Along with our successful Facebook ad campaign, we created a companion ‘Find a Certified Massage Therapist’ Facebook application on our fan page for consumers. This app provides additional exposure for all Certificants who are registered in our database. Searchable by zip code, the app is updated in real time from our website. With an average of 3,000+ visits a month by consumers, this destination has proven a popular destination for our growing Facebook fans and potential consumers alike.
The Find a Certified Therapist Website Tool
Our website receives heavy traffic from students, massage therapists and consumers alike. One of the most popular destinations on our website continues to be our certified therapist locator website tool which works much like our Facebook application.
Consumers are actively seeking certified practitioners. 125,000 searches for certified massage therapists are performed a year on the NCBTMB website alone.
Exposure and Awareness Across Our Social Media Channels
Our presence on Social Media has grown tremendously in the last few months. We currently have access to over 15,000 users across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. We know how powerful word of mouth is and we make it a point to create content that represents Certification in the highest regard. We also make sure to produce content that educates those who are unaware of their options.
The Value of Certification Video Contest
NCB ran a successful video contest last fall encouraging Certificants to submit a short video explaining what their NCB Certification means for them. The contest was promoted through a custom Facebook app and Twitter. Each video submission was not only highlighted in our YouTube playlist, but featured on our Facebook wall. The winners (there were four) also received a special write up and feature along with their business and contact information in our monthly Spotlight section on our website. The contest will be repeated again soon. This is a chance for you to tell everyone about your business and what Certification means to you.
The Spotlight Feature on our Website
Each month we feature a special certified therapist on our website’s Spotlight feature on our homepage. Spotlight features are posted on our social media channels and always very popular.
