Certificants: violations of ethics/standards
In serving the public’s trust – and in accordance with the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Disciplinary Complaints – NCBTMB publishes sanctions imposed on certificants found to be in violation of the Code of Ethics and/or Standards of Practice.
Daniel Suarez, Naugatuck, CT
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Mr. Suarez’s certification effective as of September 17, 2009. The Committee found that Mr. Suarez violated the following Standards of Practices: I(a), I(d), I(j), I(l), I(m), II(b), II(c), III(a), III(c), IV(e), IV(f), IV(g), IV(h), IV(j), V(a), V(c), V(d). The Committee also determined that Mr. Suarez violated the following Code of Ethics provisions: II, III, IV, V, XIII, XV, XVI.
Thomas Metzinger, West Melbourne, FL
The Ethics and Standards Committee revoked Mr. Metzinger’s certification effective as of September 2, 2009. The Committee found that Mr. Metzinger violated the following Standards of Practices: I(a), I(b), II(c), IV(b), V(c), V(d), V(e), VI(a), and VI(c). The Committee also determined that Mr. Metzinger violated the following Code of Ethics provisions: XIV, XV, XVI and XVIII. |
