Certificants: violations of ethics/standards
In serving the public’s trust – and in accordance with the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Disciplinary Complaints – NCBTMB publishes sanctions imposed on certificants found to be in violation of the Code of Ethics and/or Standards of Practice. Below is a list of recent sanctions, as well as an archived list of all NCBTMB revocations.
Seng Hee Ryan, Washington, DC
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Ms. Ryan’s certification effective as of April 5, 2010 pursuant to Rule 8.2 of the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Discipline Complaints.
Woo J. Kim, Fort Lee, NJ
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Ms. Kim’s certification effective as of April 28, 2010 pursuant to Rule 8.3 of the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Discipline Complaints.
Bok Ramsdell, Boca Raton, FL
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Ms. Ramsdell’s certification effective as of November 24, 2009 pursuant to Rule 8.3 of the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Discipline Complaints.
Carl Shanholtzer, Preston, CT
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Mr. Shanholtzer’s certification effective as of April 5, 2010. The Committee found that Mr. Shanholtzer violated the following Standards of Practices: I(a), I(b), II(b), II(f), and II(c). The Committee also determined that Mr. Shanholtzer violated the following Code of Ethics provisions: XVIII.
Jae Shim, Flushing, NY
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Ms. Shim’s certification effective as of April 5, 2010 pursuant to Rule 8.2 of the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Discipline Complaints.
Timothy Smith, Syracuse, NY
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Mr. Smith’s certification effective as of January 30, 2010 pursuant to Rule 8.2 of the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Discipline Complaints.
Jung Su Park, Flushing, NY
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Mr. Park’s certification effective as of January 30, 2010 pursuant to Rule 8.2 of the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Discipline Complaints.
Ming Yu Li, Flushing, NY
The Ethics and Standards Committee permanently revoked Ms. Li’s certification effective as of February 27, 2010 pursuant to Rule 8.2 of the Rules and Procedures Regarding Ethical and Professional Discipline Complaints.
