		<description><![CDATA[While reading the responses to NCBTMB&#8217;s distance education (DE) posts it seems that some individuals assumed that hands on course work can be completed via DE for certification. This is not true. Only &#8220;non-kinesthetic&#8221; (non-hands on courses such as business, ethics, etc.) will be accepted via DE for certification.

It can include hybrid courses (those where you meet face-to-face part of the time and online the rest of the time), courses delivered exclusively via CD or DVD and require no classroom attendance, online courses (WebCT, BlackBoard, etc.), video, television and even courses delivered via the radio.
