School Outreach Director

NCBTMB is searching for an experienced professional who has worked in both the educational and project management environment. The position oversees national efforts related to school outreach activities in an effort to increase school, educator and student awareness of the value of certification and recertification. The position is responsible for helping to advance the current program to a new level and to organize and develop grass-roots volunteers.

The ideal candidate must be a team player who takes direction and yet works independently to develop creative strategies and solutions. Also required is someone who is dedicated, well organized and detail oriented.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (preferably in education)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in education and/or project management
• Project management training and certification highly desirable
• Experience with certification agency a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with volunteer training and development
• Supervisory experience required
